So I did a thing

update: the multi interventions worked and all is back to normal. thanks for sharing your wisdom.

I was having a period of liquidy relatively constant output and I had 3 days of travel (oncology appointment 300km away) so I took an Imodium so at least I could make the 5 hr drive without it turning into a 10 hr drive for emptying stops. So that was Wednesday morning, we are now Friday night and I have had zero output (well one little mouse poop size hard nugget) I've been drinking the water, I've been eating pretty normal, earlier I took a stool softener but I'm wondering if I should be pulling out bigger guns. I don't think I have any blockage worries, no pain, a little bloating and heavy feeling but I don't feel like I'm in any medical trouble just starting to get a little concerned.

I used to take Imodium regularly before my barbie butt because pelvic radiation left me with a lot of digestive issues that made Imodium a necessary part of my diet, but this is the first time I've taken it post op because I don't have to worry about making it to the bathroom so much any more. Now I'm regretting it and wondering what the best way to undo that choice might be? For added info I also take opioid pain meds everyday so that is probably now compounding my issue.

Any wisdom shared is much appreciated

First oncologist appointment after apr

6 months post Apr now. Anyway this scan was clean but oncologist said I am at increased risk due to tumour invading lymphatic vein so 5 year clock set to zero and I will be seeing her every 4 months for the next 2 to 3 years. They are bumping me to yearly scans though unless any concerning symptoms pop up in-between. Not sure how I feel about that as even having scan every 3 months, it still took several scans to confirm the regrowth of my tumour. But then again I'm more than eager to put all this literal shit behind me and get the official NED stamp... Which I'm gonna pretend I have now because this scan showed no evidence of disease, first clean scan in 2 years, so I'm declaring myself ned at least for today.

Hope all is as well as can be with everyone.

I had a fit of sneezing last night, now it is so sore around my stoma. I'm 5 months post Barbie butt surgery. I do get belly pain when I am out and about, I live rural and my shopping trips take about 5 to 6 hours with 3 hours of that being driving. Last shopping trip I had really bad cramping and pain about half way through that slowly eased over the next few hours, but the next day my stomach muscles around my stoma were feeling like I had been doing crunches for hours. today my entire stomach muscle area is uncomfortable, but especially around my stoma. I was only sneezing for about an hour, until allergy meds kicked in.

Question if I may, is this totally normal?

I was expecting that by this point out from surgery I wouldn't be experiencing as much belly pain esp caused by a few sneezes. It bad enough today I was supposed to go in to renew my driver's license, but I'm way to uncomfortable to make the drive and then stand waiting and try not to grimace for a photo. I'm hoping by tomorrow it eases up which it usually does by the second day after my trips.

Soonest doctors appointment I could get is 21st of May, but my doctor is a bit of a idiot so I'm not sure if there is anything he would have to say anyway.

edited for typos
