So, I have an informal status review set for May 6th. I had court back in January, but all my belongings including the paper that was served to me were stolen due to me being homeless. I have transportation issues and have just been overall struggling. I was sentenced to one year in jail, which was cut down to one year of informal probation and 25 hours of community service. I am a first time offender and apparently I was supposed to have an orientation to meet with someone to set up my community service and get it done, but due to all my stuff being stolen I thought it was set for May 6th, because that's the date I remembered, so I missed it. Is it safe to say I'm pretty much gonna be arrested at my informal status hearing with the head prosecutor and I pretty much done for? Or will I be able to go explain and plead my case and have them hear me out? I've tried to call attorneys and the prosecutor office and even filed an extension for community service to get back on track. I'm nervous I'll have to do a year in jail as a first time offender over community service when I already have a lot going on in life right now and I'm paranoid. I just need some advice/knowledge about my situation. I've tried calling the prosecutors office and attorneys office and have left multiple voice mails when they don't answer. Will they suspend my informal probation and sentence me to the original one year?
