My father is a principal in a govt college, has a salary of well over 2 lakhs a month. Cheated on my mother and then divorced. He started living with another female colleague and that female had a husband and a daughter. She also divorced her husband and currently they are living together.
My mother was a headmistress in a govt school who left her govt job coz my father persuaded her to leave and take care of family. So she left her job out of love and trust, in 2010. Then, in 2019 my father cheated on my mother with a lady professor. This happened after 20 years of marriage.
My father is from general category, mother is SC. He started torturing her mentally. How she was less for him and how the other lady professor is far better and he deserved someone like the lady professor. Also criticized how my mother had done sins in previous births to be born in SC family in this birth. Also how low IQ my mother has coz..... (she has not a low iq at all. She was district rank 1 in teachership exam, however my father was state rank 1 in lecturership exam. So low iq compared to him.) After all these tortures for a few years finally they decided to divorce.
My mother never put these category angles in the case coz she never wanted to cause troubles for my father and we were still dependent on his job.
My father had transferred his property and savings worth of a few crores to that lady before divorce. It was decided mutually that he would pay a lumpsum of 20 lakhs, together with 1/5 th of his take home salary every month, after his deductions and GPF savings. This alimony accounted to around 33 thousands per month.
In 2023 divorce was finalized. He signed the documents stating that he would pay the alimony, mutually agreed upon. However the court order stated only 20 lakh lumpsum and omitted the monthly alimony part. Father paid the 20 lakh. And was probably unaware of the order and was paying monthly alimony till now. Stopped paying recently.
What should we do now? He has transfered all his property to his new wife that worth well over 2-3 crores. And he will be getting 2.75 lakhs per month in hand salary soon. My mother has no support from village. Though I am an adult, I am jobless. Trying for a job. What should we do now?
TLDR: Father signed the Mutual agreement divorce paper with mother, clauses stated that he would pay a lumpsum along with monthly part. The court order stated that he would pay the lumpsum only. He was paying till now. Stopped recently. What should we do?
