(MI) Subleasing Miscommunication
I subleased (unofficially) from my friend with no written contract. I'm having an issue because I moved in March 8th until May 1st so a little under two months. Before I moved in, I asked her how much it would be to move in March 8th until the end of the *school* year (May 1st) and she said $550. I agreed immediately because that's obviously a good price. She then requested $550 again for April, but I asked how much it would be until the end of the year. I've been delaying paying because I obviously wasn't prepared to pay and she's threatening to add interest because "her parent's are frustrated" so now I'm not really even sure what to do. I'm a college student that's unemployed and I paid the $550 out of pocket- I'm not prepared to pay that amount again and if I had known she wanted it to be monthly (but clearly never specified) I never would've subleased from her to begin with. What should I do now?
