Pre-settled as dependent + settled as EU citizen in my own right

I’m in a situation that I’m not sure how to deal with and would really appreciate some advice.
I arrived in the UK in August 2020, but unfortunately at that time I did not yet have Italian citizenship. During that period, I went back to Brazil and spent a few months there in 2021, where I was able to apply for my Italian citizenship through the Italian Consulate in Rio de Janeiro. My mother was already living in the UK with her Italian documents and had obtained pre-settled status.
When I returned to the UK in 2022, I applied for the EU Settlement Scheme as the dependent family member of an EU citizen through my mother, with the help of a solicitor, and this application was approved in April 2022.
At the end of 2022, I was finally able to obtain my Italian passport through the Italian Consulate in London. Then, in July 2023, I applied again to the EUSS, this time in my own right as an Italian citizen rather than as a dependent family member, and that application was also approved.
In October last year, I was granted settled status as an Italian citizen, and since then I have even had a daughter who was born British.
My concern is the following:
I now seem to have two separate EUSS records/processes:
- one as a dependent family member with pre-settled status linked to my Brazilian passport;
- and another one as an EU citizen/sponsor with settled status linked to my Italian passport.
I have recently seen people discussing situations where the Home Office has reviewed or cancelled statuses connected to EU citizenship recognised after Brexit, and this has made me worried about whether my own status could eventually be affected.
Because of this, I am wondering whether, when April 2027 comes, I should apply for settled status again using my Brazilian passport as my mother’s dependent, or whether I should simply leave things as they are.
I am especially concerned because in 2028 my husband will need to renew his spouse visa based on my status.
I also did not realise it was possible for the same person to hold two EUSS statuses/records at the same time, even if they are connected to different passports and nationalities.
Has anyone experienced something similar or received any guidance about this situation?
