I have a guitar that I am planning to customise. She is an affordable Vault ST1 strat, and I am considering replacing the pickups and potentially upgrading the neck. I love the maple necks on Fenders, and I really want a blonde maple neck for her.
I am eager to undertake this work myself, as I wish to learn more about the art of lutherie while creating something uniquely personal.
Where can I find any maple necks with 21 frets suitable for a strat? I would also appreciate some help with converting its current HSS pickups to SSS.
I'm only a student, I don't earn much, but I'm willing to work with what I have. I really love my guitar, she's the world to me and I really want to make her truly unique. Just one in the whole world.
