Translink App rant
Anyone know what the craic is with not being able to reset the password for the translink app?
My kid needs a bus home, forgot he'd spent the emergency money he keeps in his phone. I think no problem, he has his phone and data, he can just use the app to buy a ticket. Only he's forgotten his password and can't reset. That's fine, he can use my account. Only my account won't let me log in, password incorrect, (when I'm 99% sure the password is correct?). And it won't let me reset my password either. That's fine, I'll just create a new account... only the account I can't log into is linked to my phone number, so I can't?
Surely a working password reset option should be a basic feature of any app that requires a log in? Why does it need to be linked to a phone number..?
The only bus/train provider for 1.9 million people, and their app isn't fit for purpose, but nothing's been done to fix it? Someone make it make sense...
