Hi everybody !

I’m planning on taking legal action against my landlord for a problem we’ve been facing for a few days now.

Does anyone have a lawyer to recommend ?

Budget doesn’t matter I’m ready to pay the price.

The situation :

I’ve just moved out of his unit, gave back the appartment in absolute perfect state after renting it for 3 years.

Landlord is now claiming I actually never paid a deposit to him.

However, I have a receipt of all transaction given to real estate company on day of contract signature (Deposit + commission + cheque for the year) and I even went to the bank now to get a printed proof that I withdrawed cash the deposit money 3 years back.

If anyone has any advice/recommendation for me, or maybe the contact number of someone competent that can help me with the process. I don’t know if going to RDC by myself right now would be useful. I don’t even know if I should file against the landlord or against the real estate company to be honest !

Hello everyone.

Seeking advices … I just left my rental appartment 10 days ago, gave it back all repainted and in perfect condition after 3 years. Agent who inspected it said it is perfect (landlord doesn’t live in UAE so he delegated the inspection to an agent). Objectively, I’ve left everything perfect. But landlord is not answering my request to send the deposit back. What should be my next steps ? What can I do against him ?

I literally spent the equivalent of half this deposit to have it repainted and cleaned professionally 🫠

Hey guys ! Seeking advices regarding issues I’m facing with Etisalat.

I’m moving home this week. Requested a wifi transfer on the 1st of May. Consequently, the WiFi in my old appartment was cut on the 30th of April at 11.59p.m

Waited all day yesterday, no technician came. I called Etisalat several times, all of the people I got on the phone told me “don’t worry, technician is on his way, give it 1 hour…” At 10p.m, I gave up. I just begged the last operator I got on the phone, to send someone on 2nd morning (today).

I’ve been out of work for 36h now, not being able to connect to Internet for my meetings and not even being able to go to a coffee to work, so I don’t miss the technician if he decides to come unannounced to my door.

It’s already 10am and I’m pretty certain nobody will come today either.

Now when I check on the Etisalat app, all my complaints request I’ve been removed. It’s like nothing happened. And I’m like an idiot without wifi, still paying for it.

I’ve filed a complaint with TDRA already. But it might take 5 days before they reach back, by that time I will be fired by my company 🥲

When I start a new chat on the app, I’m being disconnected every time. I can’t reach a real agent anymore, it’s like they banned me.

What else can I do ? 🥲 Please help 🙏🏼
