Not sure if this is the right sub for this. I don’t know if this is a sign of the times but only after joining my current company 7 years ago have I noticed this. Every year, we get this copy/paste notice how our management team went to bat for us on keeping health insurance prices low. It states how our insurance provider wanted to increase 35% but they negotiated it 18%-24% (depending on the year). It has gotten to the point that my annual pay increase barely covers the increase in insurance. For a family of 4 I pay over $1000 monthly (with my company stating they cover 80% of the cost) and that’s before the increase!

Please let me know if this is typical or if this is a sign I need a new job.
