One Semester Left. How should I lock in?
Hey everyone, I’m having some trouble deciding what I should focus on this summer.
Some background. I go to a T20, started locking in more last year. Had LONG gaps between internships (also didn’t learn much) so I decided to extend my grad one semester to Fall to get an internship this summer. Luckily got an internship for govt contracting, and I believe has a decent RO rate. I don’t really have any extra curricular or insane project but I do have an extensive CRUD RN app that’s unpublished.
RO is nothing crazy by CS standards so if you were in my shoes how would you aim higher?
I plan to do interview prep NC150, Star, a little system design, maybe a project I had an idea for etc. etc. but since new grad is pretty difficult esp if you don’t do the internship -> RO pipeline and my resume is nothing to write home about. How should I best utilize my timer this summer?
