Suddenly reminded of the tax changes.

Hit a 10% (of $246,000) jackpot playing UTH at Canterbury.

Naturally I was expecting an exceptionally cold run at the poker tables following this for tax purposes.

However, the laws have changed quite a bit since I last hit something similar back in early 2000s. You can't deduct gambling winnings unless you itemize.

I'll get over it. 😀
