As a party all about equality, Why are you so gung-ho about allowing men to come to the United States from countries where women don’t have rights?

Why do many Democrats strongly support immigration from countries with poor women’s rights while also presenting themselves as the party of gender equality?

If you take a guy who’s grown up viewing women as less his whole life, when he comes to the United States, he’s still gonna think the same way. He’s almost certainly going to be a sexist without even realizing, which is what we don’t want in our country.

Yet so many democrats still think it’s normal to want open borders. If you have open borders, people from countries where they set women on fire for trying to learn how to drive will come here.

Please keep this comment section civil and not political. I am asking if there are any Utah Valley students, or someone who knows Utah Valley students to tell me what was campus like the days/weeks/months after a prominent figure was assassinated right on your college campus? Did classes resume as per usual? Did any parts of campus get blocked off? What was the overall reaction from students/staff that such a famous event happened in front of you all, at a relatively small school? Was there any major changes in rules/policies after?
