We are exploring the potential use of the Google Gemini native connector where Gemini can be used to query from Salesforce and write back updates to records. Claude will be next. Anyone have experience using the native Google connector? Any advice to manage acceptable use?
I have a team of executive leaders who read articles daily about companies using AI to spin up their own CRM that isn’t Salesforce. Like many, the many cloud platforms, cost to maintain, and cost of services (Salesforce is constantly increasing prices) is pushing us to explore “modernization options” aka Salesforce alternatives. We are a very mature company using Salesforce for sales and service (business system use only, not customer-facing/interactions). Are there real non-Salesforce options worth considering? Has anyone used AI to create a CRM that removes some of the Salesforce baggage and costs?
