Two weeks ago, I (26M) had similar bumps appear inside my lower lip and along my gums. They stung to the touch and would often burst. At first i thought this was maybe a cold sore i had contracted, although it would be my very first flare up, but now very similar marks have formed on my finger. Its also worth noting the sores only appeared in the wet inner portion of my lower lip and not on the outside like where cold sores normally form. When they first appeared in my lip i felt flu-like symptoms (body aches, fever, nausea) that lasted until they had fully healed about 5 days ago. Today these bumps formed on my pinky and i feel similarly crappy. Any ideas?
