Is it true someone with a mild intellectual disability can’t join the Navy?
Grok and Google tell me I can’t join the NAVY if I have a mild intellectual disability, which I don’t understand. I have a cousin who joined despite having a learning disability on paper as well. I hear people with autism can join the navy as well, but I don’t get it. I have a mild intellectual disability on paper, yet I can drive, have a full-time job, go to school, and could probably live by myself. Any experiences or stories to share ?
