This weekend I am playing an opponent who plays Tyranids and is reasonably new to the game, I know NOTHING about how Tyranids play but want to support him to have the best game possible.

What kind of things would you recommend I remind him about, apart from helping him determine the best time to call Shadow in the Warp?

Are there any regular rules that you find you forget or you wish someone had reminded you about when you started?
