FLK2 resit in January

It's almost mid Oct and I haven't started prep for my FLK2 resit in January. Any tips or motivation? I know I need to rip the band aid off and just start but I don't know where to start. I felt like I covered everything before the exam in July and I failed by a few marks. I studied with Barbri last time. I have the guarantee. I am open to purchasing some material from other providers but not a full course. Barbri was not the best but the course gave me a structure to follow. I don't know how to study for a resit without the structure. Would it make sense to just buy Revise SQE mocks? I don't want to spend a lot of money on this I already spent so much but I also really have to pass this time. Side note I am a foreign qualified lawyer. If there's a group chat of people preparing for the resit please add me?

SQE2 Oct v. Jan

I'm waiting for my SQE1 results (I sat in July) and I'm trying to think ahead in case I pass both FLK1 and FLK2 (I am a first sitter, I left both exams feeling like I've failed, but after speaking to some people who had a similar feeling after the exam and then actually passed, I figured I need to think ahead)

If I pass, I'll have roughly 6- 7 weeks before the October SQE2 sitting. My concern is that while the FLK knowledge is still relatively fresh, 6- 7 weeks doesn't seem like much time to prepare for the different assessment format (interviewing, advocacy, drafting, writing, etc.).

On the other hand, if I wait until the January sitting, I'm worried I'll have forgotten a significant amount of the FLK and end up spending weeks re-learning the law before I can focus on SQE2 skills.

For those who have sat SQE2 (especially if you took it soon after SQE1), would you recommend October or waiting until January? Looking back, what would you have done differently?

My background, I am a foreign lawyer and I practice outside the UK.

SQE1 Toolkit / Law Society

Has anyone tried the SQE1 Toolkit offered by The Law Society? It's supposed to be detailed explanations explaining why the correct option is the single best answer (of the SRA pre tested questions). It's 35 £ for 94 FLK1 MCQs & 98 FLK2 MCQs
