Need Recommendations for his next Upgrade!
Video is of my pet Texas Rat Snake delicately enjoying his weekly mouse. This is Jörmung and Ive had him a little over a year now. He was a rescue and when I got him he was skinny, 3ft long and could only eat quail eggs. Now he's a solid 5ft and ready for a dedicated snake tank.
Im looking for something that can ideally double as furniture or storage, but would be large enough for him to stretch out as well as add branches for climbing and tunnels for excavation. His current tank is a 50 gal old hamster set and he seemed very keen on exploring the tunnels so I would like to be able to create a tunnel system as well as canopy area for him. I would prefer to make this a bioactive terrarium setup, so glass or pvc would be the preferred materials. Would love to hear you guys recommendations. Any brands or specific setups that you prefer and why. I plan on ordering my next paycheck.
