Resume Review - Backend Developer (NestJS) struggling in campus placements

Hi everyone,

I’m a backend developer focusing on Node.js / NestJS and distributed systems. I’ve attached my resume and would really appreciate honest feedback.

Main project: ForgeGate – a multi-tenant workflow engine built with NestJS, BullMQ, Redis, retries, and Dead Letter Queue.

Currently, on-campus placements are going on in my college. Despite having stronger technical projects, I haven’t been shortlisted by any company so far. At the same time, I’ve noticed some students with much weaker technical backgrounds getting multiple offers. One common thing I observed is that many of them have very high attendance.

I’m trying to understand:

  1. Is my resume strong enough for Backend roles?

  2. Are the project descriptions clear?

  3. What should I improve to perform better in campus placements?

Any honest feedback would help a lot. Thanks.

Looking for honest feedback on:

  • Architecture
  • API Gateway design
  • Multi-tenancy approach
  • Queue/retry implementation
  • What is still missing for production readiness

Any review or suggestions would help a lot.
