Ai grade for labs

He I am applying for CSE labs at UW and most of em ask for 400 level course grades. Currently I am almost done with CSe 473 and am projected to get around 3.6-3.5. I am wondering on what grades they consider (Ik that most labs are holistic and also look at projects or skills).

Hey everyone! I’m applying for a TA role at the Allen School for the summer. It’s my first time applying, and I’m specifically looking for TA postion at the 12X series or 332.

I’m currently working on the "Personal Statement" section (the part where you describe why you want to TA and your relevant experience). For those who have been hired before:

What kind of students are they looking for? Should I focus more on my technical mastery of the material, or my passion for helping others through the "struggle" of intro CS? Personally I wouldn't say that I am the best technically but I sure do love in helping others and helped in teach elementary students in Math**.**

Any tips on how it would be best to present a story/yourself in the essay?

I've noticed 12X seems restricted to experienced TAs for Summer, is it even worth listing as a preference, or should I go all-in on 312? Thanks for any insight!

*Side note: I’ve heard rumors about needing a micro-teaching video, but I don't see a submission box for it in the portal right now. Is this still a thing for Summer applicants?*
