NDA and Non Competes

What is going on that recruiters are forced to sign crazy NDAs and non competes that seemingly cover everything and the kitchen sink and still making less than 50k??

Is this the new normal?

Some of them are straight forward but some are so complex I don't even want to sign them without a lawyer checking them out.

Please let me know if this is normal because if it is, Im going to have to contact my state representatives because this has gotten insane.

Hi!

I have never hired for more than tech support, which is not on my resume or LinkedIn however I keep getting invited by sourcers and recruiters to apply for Engineering positions.

Do you think having a Technical Recruiter cert from AIRS would help me to get experience and qualify for these recruiter positions or is it more nah we need that 5 yrs exp hiring for those positions?

Also thinking about signing up for the AIRS PRC certification? Did you get a cert from them and feel like it helped you land a job or more interviews?

I get through screening and thats it. So its not my resume, at least I don't think so...

** i have about 4 yrs experience hiring at one rpo agency.

Thank you!
