Hiring process for the VA

Applied for and was selected for a primary care physician spot which I am very excited about. I called the contact listed on the USAJOBS posting. They said they are getting the contingent job offer read but needs final approval. Asking what the timeline from here on out is. I also read something about VetPro on this subreddit but since this is my first time working for the VA I’ve never done this before. I presume they have contacted my references since I emailed them that already and my other credentials. Wanting to get some insight from someone a bit more knowledgeable about it.
Thanks in advance

Applying to be a primary care physician

Hey guys, I just completed my residency and been applying to be a PCP and some hospitalist positions (but mostly PCP) for the VA for about the last couple weeks. Wanted to se what other people's experiences with applying have been and get some advice. I have applied throughout central and mountain times, but also flexible location wise as well.

Thanks for yalls help and appreciate any advice.

VA Primary Care Jobs

Hey guys, so I just graduate residency not too long ago and really interested in primary care with the VA. location for me is not an issue and im already licensed in one state. I've been applying to primary care jobs and some part time hospitalist jobs fairly broadly - but mostly within mountain and central time. does anyone have any insight into the application and hiring process. haven't heard back since I've applied to any of the postings. just trying to get a feel for the process. Thanks
