Hey everyone, I'm going to attempt a 4k in the Alps this July l, either Dufourspitze or Gran Paradiso and I need new mountaineering boots since mines (local workshop, leather) goretex is done and get soaking wet.

I'm thinking either La Sportiva Aequilibrium LT or Scarpa.

What do you think? Are these good for these peaks in summer? Which one is warmer/drier? I don't mind about the weight.
