EDIT: Solved, you guys rock, thanks! The issue was that I thought that a single pump was adequate for the full pipe capacity, but it is not! 2 pumps to 1 pipe in order to supply 4 facilities.
Hello everyone,
Prior to recently my partner did all the factory aspects of the game but I started deep-diving hard in order to learn it.
Water claims to output at 2unit/sec AKA 4unit/2 sec. That means that a single water output should be able to supply FOUR items that ask for 1 water every 2 seconds, in theory.
I am finding that actual fluid output is somehow a little short of that. I have been trying to use a single source of fluid to supply THREE buildings - using either 2 splitters or 1 splitter with 3 outputs. However, this fluid output is INADEQUATE and the buildings stall their production.
Why is this not enough fluid? I SEE blueprints doing this exact same thing (picture attached, blueprint by /u/sevenvenom)
For reference, this is in Sky King Flats. I have 3 "Fluid pump" draining from the little lake in the upper left. Some connect directly to my factory while others connect to Conduit Inlets/Outlets.
What am I missing? Why do I not get the same results when doing the exact same things other people do? Please help. Thank you
