I don’t really know how to describe it, but how do I get that Catalina Wine Mixer smooth jazz tone? Like if Kenny G and I were going to trading eights.I assume there’s a lot of compression?
I'm curious if people have tried these and what you think about a roundwound jazz strings.
For my I play Jazz box with flats but keep rounds on my Telecaster. I'm curious about these strings for two reasons:
I have a jazz performance coming up and I'd like to use the Tele but, for whatever reason, I HATE the feel of the flatwounds on them, even though I adore them on my Ibanez.
I'm looking to bend a fair amount and the flats just don't perform to my preferences (I usually play fairly heavy gauge so it isn't just that the flats have more tension) Does anyone know if the Bebop strings will bend like a standard roundwound?
