Well, I goofed up a setting on the WAN port on the FoirtiGate 201G firewall causing it to completely lose connectivity to the internet. Seems using the "Outbound bandwidth" under the traffic shaping option on the interface on a 10 gig SFP+ interface is actually completely broken. That feature is designed for non X ports. There is no warning or a triangle of using this on a X port. Further research says to properly restrict outbound bandwidth of 2 gigs I should be using traffic shaping policies. I will deal with that later.
Lucky this site is DR and currently not active yet. I will be there in a few days to fix this.
So in thinking that if I had a OOB device like the Raspberry Pi connected to Cellular router with static IP and use the serial console connection I could wireguard into the Pi and fix it remotely? The Pi itself wouldn't connect to the internal network in the rack.
Reason I suggest using a celluar router is there aren't any other internet options other than what's there.
Has anyone done this?
