Just moved into this house in August and it had a rough looking hydrangea, I figured I would see what it does in the spring and this is it. Is there any saving it? Does it have a disease? Zone 8b, northern France.

This hydrangea looked pretty dodgy last August when we moved in, I hoped it was just the end of season, but it's come in again like this. Is it diseased? Some branches/leaves are fine and others are shriveled and weird looking.
