I’m sure this has been mentioned, but I’m reading this book about The Troubles in Northern Ireland/British occupation and torture of the Irish. And wow. It’s actually uncanny how closely the British intelligence tactics resemble the ISB’s.

Internment camps, secret police, imprisoning without trial, torture, imperialism, psyops. It’s actually staggering how cruel the right wing British government really is. And it only happened 50 years ago. I genuinely did not realize just how evil and the lengths the British government would go to maintain control as recent as the late 20th century. Fuck the king, fuck the queen, and fuck the British man lol.
