No mei, unfortunately, but we did oil the blade, and the mekugi are immaculate. Roosters. And a copper habaki. Any advice would be appreciated 🙏

This wakizashi belongs to a friend. I can’t remember the exact story, but his grandma brought it over? I’ll have the full story, later. He’s going to come over this weekend, to remove the tsuka, and (hopefully) expose a proper mei. I just wanted to get some initial thoughts.
