My Betta fish was a rescue. He's survived with me for 1.5 years but seems to be deteriorating. I've checked the water params and they're good. Temperature is a stagnant 78. Recently, I heard that boiling water for 20mins removes the chlorine so I tried it when putting new water in after a weekly water change. Since doing this, my Betta has been hiding and swimming upwards diagonally. I believe he's also been struggling to stay a float. It seems the water has done more bad than good. Any recommendations for nursing him back to good health?
Thanks
