I just received a phone call from someone who said they were with CGI San Francisco about a document with my name on it from the Ministry of External Affairs. Apparently it had an Indian phone number that I have never used and an address in some city that I have never lived at. They were stating they needed to confirm a few things because apparently the Indian phone number in question was used to send harassing text messages to public in India.

I am 99% certain this is a scam, but does the CGI even call people residing abroad? These are the phone numbers I received calls from:

+1 (628) 303-6629

It’s probably worth mentioning that I don’t even fall under CGI SF’s jurisdiction.
