Any way around this psychological negotiation issue?

Let’s say we have a car listed for 26500. Our TTL is usually around 1841.20. Total comes out to 28341.25.

The customer asks for best price out the door. We say 26400. The customer goes “but you only took off 200 from the original price”.

Another one: We have the price at 26500. The customer offers 24600. We say yes. OTD comes out to 26322.50. The customer goes “hmm that’s how y’all get people, you guys basically have me paying original price despite negotiating”.

Negotiation would be a lot simpler if customers could pay their own TTL.

Anyone else deal with this? This is mainly for cash deals.
