a few days ago I bought a used Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw in unknown condition. According to the page counter it has printed 43,898 pages, for this printer I think that's not too much.
Sadly it has one issue: after printing more than one page it starts to show severe horizontal lines with ~30mm spacing, sometimes also every 15mm. The gray areas on the test page are also not quite homogeneous.
The test pages shown in the images were printed consecutively after cleaning the developer roller and charge roller of all four color channels.
Importantly, the issue seems to be temperature- or time-related, it only appears after the printer has printed one or more pages. The first page is fine most of the time. And it only needs a few seconds (max. 1 minute) to print a clean page again.
Is there anyone here with expertise on these devices, or could someone point me towards a good source of information?
