I saw a informative video from a mandaean talking about that these checks aren’t just for females they are also for males but no one seems to think that virginity checks are weird. I don’t understand why we even have virginity checks if they don’t even matter. It’s not like hayyi rabbi is not gonna bless a couple that have been sexually active before marriage that just dosen’t seem right. In some countries you are not allowed to do virginity checks so if its a part of marriage, does that mean that no couple moving on is spiritually married? I honestly don’t believe that these virginity checks are in any religious scripture of ours i think the people were influenced by other groups, if there are pls show me
