Back in 2018-2019 when I worked at a Costco near Denver, my manager would always blast Indie 102.3 through the store. There was a song that would play very frequently that I vehemently hated. And I have been trying to find it for years to prove I didn’t make it up.
The song featured a male vocalist singing over an acoustic guitar. And the only lyrics I remember was him repeating “diamonds are a girl’s best friend” over and over again in this weirdly monotone voice. I don’t remember any other lyrics. (I don’t actually think there were any other lyrics.) Because it was featured on the Local 303 hour it would’ve been made by a local Colorado artist. I know it’s a long shot, but I’m turning to Reddit as a last ditch attempt to find it.
