So I am currently an incoming transfer student at the University of Missouri from community college. I took biology for non-science majors and I’m realizing that will not count towards the general biology pre req requirement for PA. Mizzou does not strictly offer bio one and bio two they only have bio 1500 which is an introductory to biological systems which I believe satisfies the bio one requirement. Since we don’t technically have a bio 2 would something like genetics or cell biology, satisfy the rest of the 8 credit general biology requirement? I was also told credits can’t overlap, for example I can’t use genetics in place of my bio 2 because it then can not satisfy the genetics requirement, so maybe I could use something like cell biology instead? I appreciate any help.
