As upgrade to version 26.4 via Web UI didn't go as planned, I took time to also upgrade RAM from 4GB to 16GB and replace the thermal pase... now I have more RAM, cleanly installed latest version and it run approx. 3-4C cooler. Also, warranty seal is not that problematic... :)
DEC740 is quite overpriced and overrated... especially today. But I try and support great projects, like Opnsense. For my homelab is overkill by some margin.
