Keegan 13.5 wonderful years

Keegan was my second dog. He completed our trio. I learned much more from them than they did from me. Their unconditional love and patience taught me what love really is. They taught me responsibility, sacrifice, and just above all how to be a better and more caring person. I was 19 and for 12 years and 7 months we grew together before his older brother passed from cancer. Otis’s absence was felt by all of us.
A few months later we adopted Leia. While sometimes overwhelming, Keegan patiently taught her the ropes. He cuddled her when she was tired and watched run laps while sunning himself.
These are photos from the moment I first got him home to his last meal of White Castle cheeseburgers.
Love your dogs, our time with them is never enough.
