I've decided to try and build a few antennas for the first time. The June VHF contest coming up seems like a great opportunity to try something new and the scale isn't huge, so I can easily work on it in the house.

I've been looking at plans but most involve aluminum tubing that is 1/2" or 5/8" diameter and wingnuts, etc...

Is there a go-to source for this tubing? I checked my local hardware store but they didn't have anything like it so online will be easiest. I won't need very long pcs since the lengths aren't long for VHF/UHF.
