Anyone from around East Ballyfermot?

Hello people,

I’ve seen this discussion been brought up a couple of times on this sub-Reddit but considering time has passed since it was last asked, I’m wondering what everyone’s experience has been living in East Ballyfermot, particularly around Landen Road.

Looking at houses, East Ballyfermot is one of our best options. Close to both our families and also very central to town and the Pheonix Park which is quite important for us.

We’re more so wondering about the overall living quality of east Ballyfermot and what people’s positive/negative stories have been.

We’ve generally gathered that East is actually quite nice, matured and slowly but surely beginning to gentrify but we just were looking for any locals opinions on the matter!

Thanks.

Unfortunately I left a vinyl record from the band I went to see last night on the bus. It’s signed by the band + I have the setlist which they also signed.

I’ve went through all the Dublin bus steps regarding lost property and it’s looking like someone has decided to take it instead of handing it in. I’m just throwing it out here on r/dublin in case anyone happens to have been that person. I’m guessing now but hey 🤷 here’s hoping!

Picked up a nice copy of Hearts In Atlantis today!

I really wish these US hardcovers were easier to come across in Ireland because I would only ever purchase these!

I’ve just finished up reading Wizard And Glass/Little Sisters Of Eluria and plan on jumping into Hearts In Atlantis now!

I know it’s particularly Low Men In Yellow Coats people recommend reading so I’m just trying to clarify if this is the correct time to jump in and if it’s worthwhile?

Thanks!
