Safaricom router with external antenna(s)
Will any 5G router (with wifi6) work with a Safaricom SIM card provided it covers Safaricom frequency bands and accepts a nanoSIM card?
My girlfriend lives on the countryside outside Nakuru and usually has decent HD video with Safaricom on the phone. Makes me think they should work very well for wifi even with HD video at least if we add an external antenna. Unfortunately Safaricom only sell routers with built-in antennas (and Airtel have weak signal and Fabia only 4G).
ChatGPT says safaricom uses (at most) n78, n41, B3 & B20 (and B1 for 3G).
