What am I doing wrong?

I have been applying to multiple open positions for the better part of two years. Only once have I ever received a phone call regarding a possible interview that sadly never happened. I have four years of experience in fabrication and welding as well as certifications for CAD software such as SolidWorks. I apply to any position that is described to require skills that I have. Last year I attended a networking event at the Costa Mesa location and even talked to the lead of the fabrication shop who stated that I had excellent experience and would likely be a good fit. I know that this company is definitely where I want to be but it seems I can’t even get my foot in the door. Is there something that I’m missing?

If you’re doing catch-and-release and aren’t equipped to take any fish home, what do you do if you accidentally gut-hook a fish?

I luckily haven’t run into this situation yet but was just wondering. I usually don’t take a cooler or bucket with me and was wondering. Would you just throw it back and let nature take its course?
