I've struggled with composition and has I know what's a good art(albeit complete lack of artistic skill) pretty much my entire life and I'm overwhelmed by the works I am seeing here and inspired at the same time.
I enjoyed drawings as outsider pretty much since childhood and now that I am starting to be interested in creating art myself as I don't really like generative ai and I still have respect to artistry that was made by a person;I am using scriptorium to start from somewhere and I admit it is a struggle to make anything cohesive but I start enjoying the aspect of discovery, to start improving... from Scratch. A person from work outrightly called me out and said that "you have 0 eye in composition" and although it was meant humorously, I can't deny how accurate he was.
