Are there risks to changing the payment date or would I be over complicating it and risk delaying forgiveness?

My due date is the 23rd of each month. My PAYE recertification deadline is 7/21/2026. My payment will double as I haven’t recertified since 2019. Additionally, my last month (120) is August 2027.

Thinking if I request my due date be moved to early in the month, I can 1) have one more month on my current low payment, and 2) file taxes jointly next year if the next recertification deadline in 7/21/2027, having a lower payment.
