You know the funny realisation when it's apparent that the author had a particular gender or orientation(or both) in mind for the MC when they wrote the story.

Path of Martial Arts and Samurai of Hyuga is infamous for being biased to straight guys.

The romance in Wayhaven Chronicles and Shepherds of Haven is more flavourful and "meatier" for straight/bi fem MCs.

There's nothing wrong with it, of course. The authors obviously feel more comfortable writing something more in-line with their own lived perspective and experiences.

It's just amusing sometimes when you decide to play PoMa as a woman and no one wants to do the hanky-panky with female Wu Heir.

I can't believe the author fridged the best RO that actually loves Wu-Fraud, so early in the game.

The only other options are the snake Mei2 and Ruo(who is there, I guess...)

It's quite funny, the most "romantic" moments in POMA, imo, are the events of Su De and the Mystery Woman that we met with our cousin. But alas, as far as I understand, they're just flings.

This is one of the games of all time.

I was thinking, "Man, this game must've gone crazy on Tumblr," and, as it turns out, I wasn't wrong. Lol.

Drew this on Sunday after completing a Royalist playthrough of the full Infinity Series with high Reputation. It was very fun.

I forgot how enamored I was with Katarina in Guns. She was gone for too damn long in Lords. I hope we get to spend more time with her in the sequels😿.

Honestly, I think it would actually be more exciting than the shit that's happened so far.

Finally completed Dawn of Heroes. I really wanted to like it and my expectations were already low cause Superhero IFs usually make your character weaker than the others but this game was particularly egregious because you actually CAN make your MC the strongest( not that it actually remembers it).

It went from frustrating to genuinely amusing to watch my Temu Superman (who's supposed to be the strongest hero in the superhero team, mind you) stand around slack-jawed during battles. And when he did act, he kept jobbing to every new supervillain, no matter what choices I made or what powers I used.

My "rival" villain was a discount Deathstroke—a mercenary woman with a sword, for fuck's sake.

The writing is a bit awkward but I've read worse. The romance was only so-so as well, but I thought Aegis was cute. She reminded me of Blonde Blazer/Mindy from Dispatch, lol. Overall, I thought it was a 3.5/10 game.

The author obviously put a lot of effort into it but maybe the game would make a lot more sense if you were canonically a non-superpowered Batman-like hero.

Tried my best to recreate the main cast of Pactbinder with my short MC in the grey suit. I didn't dare to change Adelais from her favourite dress, lol.

I played too many action-IFs where I fought and outsmarted my way to the top so I tried to min-max my way into stardom only to realise some time after that my dumb pop-singer MC has no skills or stats and I'm completely at mercy to the author's whims. At least Gina likes me(?).
