I've been in consulting for 10 years doing SAP implementations. Really trying to get out and get my foot in any door away from SAP and consulting.
Any suggestions on what kind of roles to look for? In the past Amazon interviewed me for Sr. TPM role and now Google reached for a Technical Account Manager role. But so far only got the Google callback. Please help with any advice! I applied to almost 40-50 ish roles in 3 weeks now.

Hi! I’m going through a terrible time mentally, saw one of my parents go through an extremely critical health issue last year they’re okay now but I haven’t felt the same since, didn’t do well at my job since the incident and that reflected in my performance review. I hate my job tbh I always thought once I get a new job it might get better for me but idk the market also seems pretty difficult to crack through. My H1B is valid till 2028 and I140 is approved. I’m single too that bothers me as well. I know a lot of people are going through far worse things than me I know I’m incredibly lucky to have what I do and I’m not denying any of it I just feel like I need a break, and maybe upskill and try coming back? Has anyone done this? Is it possible to come back? I have tech consulting experience of 10 years at a reputed firm. I have been able to get interviews with FAANG in the past. Would appreciate advice and any shared experiences, please don’t be mean 🙏🏽
