Private practice TC v CSSO

I’m wondering if anyone could give me some insight into what training at the CSSO is like? I currently have a training contract with a corporate law firm set to start next year but I’m really interesting in the CSSO.

If anyone could tell me what it is like to train there and what kind of commercial cases the CSSO advises on, that would be brilliant. My ultimate plan is to go to London to work as a solicitor anyways so would the CSSO be good on a cv? I am interesting in the corporate law firm too especially since the firm offers a pre seat but I’m wondering where would offer the best training?

Thanks so much guys :)

I think it is safe to say that most people are quite stressed about May 7th (myself included). I did company, criminal, equity and constitutional and looking back now I am really not sure how I did. I also only answered 4 for equity so that’s basically a guaranteed fail. But I was thinking that it could be helpful if people shared their exam results success stories as a way to help others calm the nerves a bit before Thursday and help give others some hope.

Does anyone have any success stories for constitutional or company in particular?

Best of luck in advanced everyone!
