Anyone know how to keep subtitles at the bottom of the screen?
Right now they're floating around a bunch and going over the top of characters.
I am not totally deaf. I can recognise voices of who is speaking. But still having the subtitles on is useful sometimes so like to have them discretely at the bottom if something is hard to hear.
Probably a question that gets asked a lot. Certainly something that I've been thinking of for what, 28 years?
Just rewatched some series 1 episodes and it comes back to me though. How do they know there's not a major city elsewhere on the planet?
Like imagine our stargate wasn't buried but just out in the Egyptian desert. Alien SG1 comes through "nothing to see on this planet. Let's go home".... Oblivious of the fact even just a few miles away there'd be something significant let alone elswhere on earth.
I can only remember a few episodes dealing with global civilizations. But they never seem to address the stargate being somewhere empty.
