Unstable streaming through ethernet

Unstable streaming through ethernet

I've searched around and haven't found any solution, so I'm hoping someone here can help.

Used to get 60 fps, smooth play, when using steam remote play from my Desktop (Host PC upstairs) to my TV in my livingroom (Client PC laptop downstairs).

But after getting a new router it's an awfull experience.

I've enable advanced host and client settings in steam and tried whatever settings i could find online. Nothing seems to work, so I tried connecting directly through the switch and that works as smooth as before i got the new router.

So im Guessing its the router but I have no idea what to change in the router settings.

Then i found Moonlight so I tried using Sunshine/Moonlight instead and it actually gives 60 fps without latency but there's constantly 1.5-3% network jitter which makes it unplayable.

I found a cheap steam link and tried using that but it was the same experience as with the laptop, using steam to remote play.

Anyone got any ideas?
