Gotta take a couple days off to rest my aching feet. And honestly, not a bad spot to chill. Beautiful little city with some amazing surf and the people are pretty cool too. One guy gave me a few beers just cause he saw my pack. And when I went to go get a sandwich and a couple more beers, the couple in front of me paid for everything!
Free power and wifi too.
I love this little redneck town. It's one of the most beautiful parts of the Oregon coast and yet everyone that lives here is so pissed off all the time. Always hating on the tourists and the travelers. I can make $100 in a day here or nothing.
Spent the day at Chetco point enjoying the sea breeze. Panda seemed to enjoy the view too.
Found a great spot to cowboy camp last night. Drank a few and got ready to finally fall asleep. All of a sudden, this home bum rolls up with her cart and sets up a tent 5 feet from where I was sleeping. Didn't even notice I was there until I crawled out of my spot at about 7 am when her dog went crazy. Anyone else got similar stories?
Every time I come through Lincoln City, OR something in me wants to stay. But the show must go on.
P.S. I heard from a rubber tramp that California is pretty tough to make money flying a sign. Can anyone confirm?
